What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Assistant Manager based in Jakarta, you will play an integral role in supporting both the head office team and employees stationed at remote sites. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing critical HR functions such as recruitment coordination, payroll processing, BPJS administration, attendance monitoring, competency framework implementation, balance scorecard reporting, and performance management facilitation. You will act as the primary liaison between central management and site personnel—ensuring that information flows smoothly in both directions while promoting consistency in HR practices. Your ability to nurture relationships across diverse teams will be essential as you help resolve queries, provide policy guidance, organise meetings for knowledge sharing, and maintain compliance with local employment laws. Success in this role means being approachable yet thorough—balancing administrative precision with genuine care for employee wellbeing.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes by collaborating closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely onboarding of new employees.
- Oversee payroll administration with accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage BPJS registration and administration for all employees, acting as the main point of contact for social security matters.
- Monitor employee attendance records diligently, addressing discrepancies promptly while maintaining transparent communication with both head office and site teams.
- Support site-based employees by providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, acting as a dependable bridge between remote locations and central management.
- Implement competency frameworks that align with organisational goals, facilitating employee development through structured assessment and feedback.
- Drive the balance scorecard process by collecting relevant data from various departments and preparing comprehensive reports for management review.
- Assist in performance management cycles by coordinating appraisals, gathering feedback from multiple stakeholders, and supporting managers in delivering constructive evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative environment by organising regular meetings between head office staff and site representatives to address concerns and share best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations by keeping up-to-date with changes in employment law and advising management on necessary adjustments.

Above all else, your collaborative spirit helps unite dispersed teams around shared goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in human resources roles within large organisations or industrial sectors is highly valued for this position.
- A strong understanding of Indonesian labour law—including BPJS administration—and practical experience handling payroll processes are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to build trust with both head office colleagues and site-based employees from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to coordinate recruitment activities efficiently while maintaining sensitivity towards candidates’ experiences throughout the process.
- Experience implementing competency frameworks or similar talent development tools will be advantageous for driving organisational growth.
- Attention to detail is crucial when managing attendance records or preparing reports related to balance scorecards or performance reviews.
