What you'll do:

As VP of Human Resources, you will play an instrumental role in guiding the direction of all people-related activities within this organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure alignment between HR priorities and strategic objectives. You will oversee every facet of human resources operations while championing initiatives that foster inclusion, engagement, and professional development.   • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure that human resources strategies are fully aligned with the overall business objectives and long-term vision of the organisation.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations including talent acquisition, retention strategies, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Drive organisational development initiatives that support cultural diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement across all levels of the institution.
  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative HR policies and programmes that enhance operational efficiency while nurturing a supportive work environment.
  • Champion best practices in industrial relations by fostering open communication channels between employees and management while maintaining compliance with Indonesian labour laws.
  • Monitor key HR metrics to assess programme effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Represent the organisation at external events or forums related to human resources management as required.

What you bring:

To excel in this role, your background should demonstrate substantial experience leading large-scale HR functions within complex organisations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline is essential for this role.
  • A minimum of 15 years’ professional experience in human resources with at least 5 years spent in senior HR leadership roles demonstrates your ability to manage complex teams and projects successfully.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive HR strategies that support organisational growth while promoting employee wellbeing is highly valued.
  • In-depth understanding of Indonesian labour laws combined with practical experience managing industrial relations issues enables you to maintain compliance while fostering positive relationships between staff and management.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal—allow you to engage persuasively with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities help you build trust-based relationships across diverse groups while promoting collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
