An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned HR professional to take on the role of Head of HRBP Manufacturing in a globally recognised consumer goods company. This pivotal role is responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives, providing strategic leadership on human resources functions, and ensuring effective management of human capital.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture and leading a dedicated HR team that supports the Division.

What you'll do:

As the Head of HRBP Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and execute people strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with business leaders to identify organisational gaps and drive initiatives to build organisational capability and succession plans. As part of the site's leadership team, you will have the opportunity to challenge, coach, and facilitate the development of your team. Your role will also involve managing complex employee and labour relations issues, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring resolution of employee issues.

  • Establish and execute people strategies to enable business growth and results
  • Partner with business leaders to identify organisational gaps, and drive to build organisational capability and succession plans
  • Serve as a key member of the site’s leadership team – appropriately challenge, coach, and facilitate effective development of the team
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to improve teamwork, build morale, increase productivity, engagement, and retention
  • Manage and resolve complex employee and labour relations issues, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations for resolution of employee issues

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of HRBP Manufacturing position brings a wealth of experience in human resources management within a manufacturing environment. With at least 10 years experience in an HR leadership role under your belt, you are well-versed in establishing people strategies that drive business growth. Your ability to make tough decisions, deliver difficult messages with professionalism, and demonstrate independent thought sets you apart. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively present information to various stakeholders.

  • Bachelor degree in human resources management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a HR leadership role
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading Collective Labour Agreement negotiation
  • Ability to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
  • Independent thought, good judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively present information
