What you'll do:

As the GM HR Operations, your role will be pivotal in shaping the company's future. You will drive HR operations that align with the business strategy, supporting both current and future needs through the development, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Your commitment to nurturing a positive working environment will see you ensuring adherence to health, safety, and legal regulations. You will manage industrial and employee relations, handling conflict resolution and disciplinary actions as needed. Your role will also involve developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations will be a key part of your responsibilities.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this GM HR Operations role brings a wealth of experience along with a passion for people. You hold a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, coupled with at least 15 years of experience in HR - 5 of which have been spent in a leadership role. Your strong leadership skills are complemented by your deep understanding of human resources management principles and best practices. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build relationships at all levels within the organisation. With strong analytical abilities, you're able to solve problems effectively while thinking strategically. Your knowledge of employment laws ensures regulatory compliance, while your business acumen and attention to the human element make you a well-rounded professional.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
