  • Promote and implement human resource strategies in line with the overall business plan
  • Provide leadership in talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development

What you'll do:

As the Head of Human Resources and General Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. You will be responsible for promoting and implementing human resource strategies that align with our overall business plan. Your expertise will be crucial in developing organisational strategies, implementing HR strategies, supporting management with HR advice, guiding management actions through policy development, enhancing our reputation, and establishing an effective employee training system.

  • Develop organisational strategies by identifying human resources issues and recommending strategic thinking and direction
  • Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountability
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel and decisions
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing and updating policies and guidelines
  • Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests
  • Establish an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Human Resources and General Affairs position brings a wealth of experience from the Retail Food & Beverage industry. With at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources positions, you have demonstrated your ability to successfully participate on an executive management team. Your broad knowledge base includes employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations, and training and development. Above all else, your excellent organisational skills set you apart.

  • Proven track record in HR leadership role from Retail Food & Beverage industries
  • Minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in human resources positions
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations and training and development
  • Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills
