What you'll do:

As Head of Human Resources, you will be at the forefront of promoting and implementing human resource strategy that supports our overall business plan. You will play a pivotal role in developing organisational strategies by identifying human resources issues and recommending strategic thinking. Your ability to establish department accountability across various HR functions will be crucial in implementing these strategies. You will also be responsible for supporting management by providing human resources advice, counsel, decisions while analysing information and applications. Your role will extend to guiding management and employee actions by researching, developing, updating policies and guidelines while communicating and enforcing organisation values.

  • Promote and implement human resource strategy in line with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organisation
  • Develop organisational strategies by identifying human resources issues and recommending strategic thinking and direction
  • Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountability across various HR functions
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, decisions, analysing information and applications
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, updating policies and guidelines, communicating and enforcing organisation values
  • Establish an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation, management development, measurement of training impact and training transfer

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Human Resources position brings a wealth of experience from insurance industry. With a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in human resources positions, you have a proven track record of success. Your ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction is essential. You bring broad knowledge and experience in employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations and training and development. Your excellent organisational skills will be key in managing various HR functions.

  • Proven track record in leadership role within HR from insurance industries
  • Minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in human resources positions
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations and training and development
  • Excellent organisational skills
