Head of HR Operations

A leading agriculture company is seeking a Head of HR Operations. In this job, you will work proactively with the wider HR team and business to drive through improved performance and retention.

About the Head of HR Operations Role:
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will ensure the HR operations team operates efficiently and aligns with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the wider HR function to develop, drive and scale people practices and procedures
• Design and review company policies and people-related procedures
• Set objectives for the HR team and tracking progress
• Review and update as necessary employment contracts and agreements
• Manage and continually improve HR processes across the whole of the employee life cycle and overseeing annual processes such as appraisals and pay reviews
• Develop and support the HR operations team, supporting with complex employee relations cases as and when required
• Review and refresh the group's competency framework in line with changes to the group's values
• Monitor internal HR systems and databases

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.

Key Requirements:

• Good knowledge of labour law
• Hands-on experience with human resources information systems
• Proven experience of creating and executing policies/strategies from scratch
• Experience designing compensation and benefits packages
• Ability to develop clear and fair company policies
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Experience working in a shared service set-up is an advantage
