Head of Reward
Our client, a leading multinational retail company, is seeking a high calibre Head of Reward. Reporting directly to the Group HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these strategies align with organisational goals and contribute to attracting and retaining top talent.

What you'll do:
As the Head of Reward, your role will be integral in shaping the employee experience. You will be responsible for developing pay structures, job evaluations, and performance management systems that are aligned with our client's organisational goals. Your expertise in leveraging market conditions and competitive talent landscapes will be crucial in designing tailored compensation strategies for key talent segments. Furthermore, your ability to develop comprehensive communication strategies will drive awareness, adoption, and understanding of the company's programs.
- Develop pay structures and job evaluations
- Design performance management systems and employee value propositions
- Oversee employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
- Initiate recognition and appreciation initiatives to foster employee engagement and loyalty
- Leverage knowledge of market conditions and competitive talent landscape to design tailored strategies for compensation for key talent segments
- Develop comprehensive and integrated communication strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and understanding of the company's programs
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Reward position will bring a wealth of experience from their career in HR. With at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in HR; including 8+ years leading compensation and benefit teams within a large organisation. Your knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefit programs, compensation programs, company policies, and operations will be invaluable. Your proven track record in designing compensation and benefits programs will guide your strategy in these areas.
- Hands-on approach with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in HR; 8+ years of experience in leading compensation and benefit teams in a large organisation
- Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefit programs, compensation programs, company policies, and operations
- Experience designing compensation and benefits programs, guidelines and processes and guiding strategy in these areas
