What you'll do:
As a Government Relations Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of the crypto industry. You will be responsible for managing high-level government stakeholder engagement, establishing necessary programs to meet regulatory objectives, and identifying areas where our client can make an impact. Your ability to anticipate regulatory outcomes and provide technical support to authorities will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining a sustainable level of campaigning activity to raise crypto awareness. Your excellent communication skills will be put to use as you draft briefing papers for senior management and build strong relationships with various government agencies.
- Manage high-level government stakeholder engagement, including communication of initiatives launched by the group
- Establish programs to meet regulatory and public policy objectives as agreed with senior management
- Anticipate regulatory outcomes and identify new product licensing requirements within Financial Services Industry
- Identify policy areas where the group can make an impact
- Create and maintain campaigning activity to raise crypto awareness
- Provide technical support to authorities regarding development of policies and procedures relevant to the industry
- Draft briefing papers for senior management on relevant regulatory and policy updates or speaking engagements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various government agencies for long-term engagement
- Provide risk management, offer advice counsel, clarification and guidance on any governmental affairs issues
What you bring:
