As a Senior Credit Risk based in Jakarta, you will immerse yourself in the world of financial analysis and credit risk management for large corporate clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve evaluating complex financial data, preparing well-structured credit proposals for senior decision-makers, and collaborating with various teams to design robust credit solutions.   • Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, economic data, and market trends to assess the creditworthiness of large corporate clients while ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals and recommendations tailored for senior stakeholders and credit committees, providing clear insights into potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with relationship managers, product teams, and other internal units to structure effective credit facilities that support client needs while managing risk appropriately.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements related to counterparty risk management, proactively supporting internal audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders by identifying and resolving risk and control issues promptly through open communication and teamwork.
  • Assist with regulatory examinations and auditing tasks specifically related to counterparty credit risk, ensuring thorough documentation and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Monitor industry developments affecting large corporate clients, staying informed about macroeconomic trends, capital markets movements, and public debt instruments.
  • Utilise advanced tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Bloomberg, and LSEG Workspace to gather market information and prepare insightful reports for decision-making purposes.

Requirements:

  • A university degree or higher qualification in risk management, economics, finance, accounting or a closely related field is essential for this position.
  • At least 6 years of proven experience in credit risk assessment within the banking or financial services sector is required to ensure you can handle complex cases confidently.
  • Previous managerial experience is considered advantageous as it demonstrates your ability to guide teams through challenging situations with empathy and responsibility.
  • Professional qualifications in Financial Analysis or Risk Management are highly regarded as they reflect your commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • A deep understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets, public debt instruments, and industry trends impacting large corporate clients is necessary for making informed recommendations.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English as well as local languages (such as Bahasa Indonesia) is vital so you can communicate complex ideas clearly across diverse groups.
