What you'll do:
As the Business Risk Head, your role will be pivotal in fortifying our client's MSME segment. You will be tasked with developing a comprehensive risk management framework, identifying and addressing operational risks, and leading fraud detection strategies. Your collaboration with technology and product teams will be crucial in designing secure, efficient processes. Regular assessments of risk control measures will fall under your purview, as well as leading investigations into operational issues. Enhancing organizational awareness of risks and promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to the MSME banking ecosystem.
* Identify, monitor, and address operational risks in MSME products, processes, and services.
* Establish and lead fraud detection and prevention strategies.
* Collaborate with technology and product teams to design secure, efficient processes.
* Conduct regular assessments of risk control measures.
* Lead investigations into operational issues and fraud incidents.
* Enhance organizational awareness of risks and fraud.
* Work closely with external partners and stakeholders.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Business Risk Head position brings a wealth of experience from the financial service industry. With at least 10 years under your belt, including 5 years in business risk or related roles, you are well-versed in navigating the complexities of this sector. Your strong analytical skills enable you to dissect complex problems effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with critical thinking skills make you an asset to any team. Your strong communication skills allow you to present information clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial service industry.
* Minimum 5 years in business risk, credit risk, or financial forensics role.
* Experience with a management or technology consulting firm is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing complex problems.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Science or a related field is preferred.
