About the Head of Risk Management Role:
Reporting to business leaders, the Head of Risk Management will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing their risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating potential risks to protect the interests of clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with the firm's objectives, considering industry best practices, regulatory guidelines, and market trends
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and quantify potential risks across various business areas, including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including the establishment of risk controls, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key risks, trends, and recommended actions
• Foster a risk-aware culture within the organisation by providing training and educational programmes on risk management best practices, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk considerations are embedded in decision-making processes
• Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, auditors, and industry associations

To succeed in this Head of Risk Management role, you will need to possess strong technical skills including deep understanding of risk management methodologies and tools, including statistical analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk modelling techniques.

Key Requirements:

• WPPE license is required
• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., BSMR, CRP) in risk management or related disciplines is advantageous
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within the financial industry, preferably in securities or capital markets
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Indonesian regulatory environment governing securities firms, including knowledge of relevant regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements
• Risk Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of risk management methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with a focus on market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk
• Analytical Skills: Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and evaluate risk exposures. Proficiency in utilising risk management software and tools
• Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Proven leadership abilities to drive and inspire a high-performing risk management team
• Integrity and Ethics: A strong commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
