What you'll do:

As a Senior Investment Analyst in Private Equity, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's investment strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying potential investment opportunities through market research and industry analysis, building relationships with key stakeholders to source deals, evaluating business models for strategic fit, and conducting comprehensive financial analysis. You will also lead due diligence processes, coordinate with third-party advisors, prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Committee, and monitor portfolio company performance.

* Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities
* Build relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry contacts to source deals
* Evaluate business models and assess strategic fit within the firm’s investment thesis
* Build and maintain detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, scenario analysis)
* Analyze historical financials and project future performance
* Conduct valuation analysis using multiple methodologies
* Lead workstreams during due diligence processes
* Coordinate with third-party advisors (legal, tax, commercial, financial)
* Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to the Investment Committee
* Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Investment Analyst role brings a wealth of experience in private equity or similar fields such as investment banking or corporate development. You possess strong financial modelling skills coupled with an excellent understanding of private equity investment cycles. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders while your project management abilities ensure that you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. An MBA or CFA would be advantageous but not essential.

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
* 3–5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting or corporate development
* Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
* Solid understanding of private equity investment cycles and structures
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management and interpersonal skills
