What you'll do:
As the Head of Business Operation for the MSME division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital banking. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage end-to-end operations for MSME banking products. You will ensure that all operational workflows are efficient, smooth, and safeguarded against fraud. Your hands-on involvement in lending underwriting and funding processes will be crucial in driving business growth. You will also work closely with various teams to align strategies with operational realities, ensuring a seamless user experience.
* Oversee and manage end-to-end operations for MSME banking products
* Ensure operational workflows are smooth, efficient, and safeguarded against fraud
* Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs to standardize workflows and ensure compliance
* Refine processes through root-cause analysis and problem-solving to enhance efficiency
* Drive the adoption of digital tools and automation in daily operations
* Monitor operational performance and provide actionable insights to senior management
* Lead by example in mentoring the operations team
* Collaborate with product, risk, compliance, and customer service teams to align strategies with operational realities
* Champion customer-focused operations for a seamless user experience
* Stay updated on regulatory requirements and translate them into practical compliance measures
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who brings extensive experience in banking operations, particularly in MSME, lending or funding products. Your expertise in managing large operations in asset-based lending and appraisal will be highly valued. You have a proven track record of designing and improving operational processes and SOPs. Your experience with digital transformation and process automation will be crucial as our client continues to innovate within the banking industry. Your strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills will enable you to lead the team effectively and drive business growth.
* 10+ years of experience in banking operations with a focus on MSME, lending or funding products
* Expertise in managing large operation in asset-based lending and appraisal
* Proven ability to design and improve operational processes and SOPs
* Experience with digital transformation and process automation
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; master’s degree is a plus
