What you'll do:

As Compliance Director, you will be entrusted with safeguarding the organisation’s reputation by ensuring rigorous adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various departments to embed compliance into every aspect of business operations. You will design robust frameworks that anticipate regulatory developments while providing practical solutions that enable commercial success without compromising ethical standards.   • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive compliance policies and procedures tailored to both local Indonesian regulations and international best practices.
  • Support Investment Team in executing transactions in a regulatory manner.
  • Monitor regulatory changes relevant to private equity operations and proactively update internal processes to ensure ongoing adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to staff at all levels on compliance matters, fostering a culture of awareness, responsibility, and ethical behaviour throughout the organisation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, managing communications, inspections, audits, and reporting obligations with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into strategic decision-making processes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into any suspected breaches or incidents of non-compliance, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership outlining compliance status, key risks, incident trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Proven track record in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective compliance programmes that align with organisational objectives while meeting stringent legal requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as external stakeholders such as regulators or auditors.
  • Strong analytical abilities allowing you to assess complex situations quickly, identify potential risks or gaps in controls, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Bahasa Indonesia preferred), facilitating clear dissemination of policies, procedures, and training materials across diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated capacity for collaborative problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams, contributing positively towards shared goals while respecting differing perspectives.
  • Experience leading investigations into compliance breaches or incidents with sensitivity, discretion, and attention to detail.
