Our client is seeking a seasoned Investment Manager to lead their operations and growth in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage origination and execution of projects, oversee financial and quantitative analysis, and develop high-quality investment papers. The successful candidate will be responsible for active and ongoing asset and portfolio management, as well as building and managing relationships with relevant government agencies, investment companies, strategic partners, banks and other professional service providers.

What you'll do:
As an Investment Manager (Vice President), you will play a pivotal role in leading the company's investment operations in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will be entrusted with managing the origination and execution of projects while overseeing the entire investment plan process. Your expertise in developing high-quality investment papers will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for maintaining financial models that serve as a basis for both investment decisions and commercial decision-making tools. Regular communication with headquarters regarding the investment pipeline is another key aspect of your role. Your ability to conduct sector and industry research to develop investment thesis and themes will be highly valued. Furthermore, you will actively manage assets and portfolios of all investments in Indonesia while reviewing portfolio companies from both a strategic and financial perspective.

Your background includes experience in bank risk management which has equipped you with strong knowledge of financial statements. You are proficient in financial analysis and modelling, skills that are crucial for this role. Your high-level communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, while your stakeholder management skills ensure smooth operations.
