Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations for their Securities division. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead, manage, and develop strategies within a dynamic team, ensuring optimum operational efficiency and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the company's operational activities, supervising and ensuring smooth running of operations.
As the Head of Operations (Securities), you will play a pivotal role in leading, managing, developing strategies, and leading the securities operations work team. Your primary goal will be to achieve optimum operations efficiency and quality in supporting both internal and external parties. You will ensure that various facets of securities operations meet expected company business objectives/requirements. You will also be responsible for supervising all aspects of the operational activities of the company, maintaining a proper supervisory program, competent system of internal controls, and ensuring system performance.
- Lead the securities operations work team to achieve organisational goals

- Work closely with other senior management personnel
- Ensure system and IT related used by the Company are performing well
- Ensure timely reporting to regulators and the Group/management
- Maintain checks and balance in all Operations Unit
- Ensure timely processing of client’s and investment transaction as well as fund reporting and corporate actions processing

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance / Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification or in related field
- Minimum of 5 years in senior management position at an established financial institution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking and analytical capabilities
