About the Head of Treasury (Banking) Role:
The Head of Treasury (Banking) is responsible for enhancing the Bank's profitability by efficiently managing the Bank's funds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the investment portfolio
• Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies
• Monitor day-to-day cash flow and manage overall liquidity of the bank
• Review and recommend changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions
• Ensure Treasury activities are compliant with regulatory guidelines and ALCO’s guidelines
• Understand and manage proper accounting procedures and processes
• Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements
• Manage and mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates and foreign exchange positions
• Ensure that ALM/KYC and due diligence for FI Clients are in order and coordinate with Compliance Department on related matters
• Analyse markets, P&L and risks with understanding of factors that drive valuation and risk

To succeed in this Head of Treasury (Banking) job, you will need good skills in strategy and leadership.

Key Requirements:

• Related degree holder with minimum of 12 years’ experience preferably within treasury roles in a Bank
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT and Treasury systems
• Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Able to negotiate and deal effectively with people and partners
• Knowledge of the markets, strong people management skills, mature individual who is organised, independent, good team player and very dynamic
• Strong business acumen and strategy, high energy and drive to succeed
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
