Financial Controller

An excellent Financial Controller job has just become available at an investment platform company (part of a big and well-known group) in Jakarta, Indonesia.

About the Financial Controller Role:
In the business critical role you will be required to understand the complete financial process and be responsible specifically in finance operations, treasury, budgeting and forecasting. You will also oversee finance, accounting, tax and controlling activities of the company. This role also requires knowledge and exposure in doing transformation project, especially in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end finance, accounting and tax matters in the company
• Analyse the monthly financial report, produce a clear and well explained financial report to the board
• Prepare cash flow forecast report on a weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare receivables and payables control report on a monthly basis
• Maintain accrual cost report, ensure all activities are properly recorded in a timely manner
• Manage and review daily finance, accounting and tax activities to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions and reports in the company
• Participate in discussion about activities and project with the business partners and to ensure all finance aspects have been properly incorporated and assessed
• Give insights prior to management decision making related to data in finance and others. Propose and review improvements in finance, accounting, business processes and procedures
• Produce and analyse relevant financial, management and production information/reports and KPIs

To succeed in this Financial Controller job, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience in technical finance and accounting skills as well as possess excellent leadership skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a well-known university, master's degree is an advantage
• Three or more years of experience in a middle finance position, preferably in the financial sector
• Experience in FinTech/Start-Up is preferred
• Fully understands budgeting and forecasting processes. Solid understanding of accounting, tax and financial standards
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse environment and excellent communication skills both in English and Bahasa Indonesia
