A rapidly expanding global financial services firm is looking for a talented Global Equity Institutional Sales Executive to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all global sales related functions.
About the Global Equity Institutional Sales Role:
The Global Equity Institutional Sales will market Company’s products and services to Institutions in order to generate new business as well as manage and grow existing relationships.
- Institutional business development and client management
- Market Company products & services to financial institutions, hedge funds, FCMs, IBs, CTAs, white label & other partners
- Manage and grow relationships with selected partners and institutions
- Responsible for the opening of corporate accounts
- Work with departments within Company, (trading services, compliance, IT, credit, account opening) to ensure the smooth running and commercial viability of relationships
- Follow up on sales leads and interest that comes from the Company website and sales lines
- Ensure that the best possible result is achieved for customers' orders
To succeed in this role, you will need to be willing to travel and driven to succeed. You must excel at developing and servicing high value clients. Preference will be given to candidates with an established book of business.
- Minimum three years’ sales experience within financial services, preferably securities firm
- Contacts with the trading world
- A very good understanding of derivatives & financial markets and how they work
- Highly numerate and works well under pressure
- Sales focused in terms of growing client base
- Ability to manage and develop complex relationships in a short amount of time
- Strong communicator - both in writing and in person
- Excellent interpersonal skills (face-to-face and telephone)
- Self-motivated and sales driven
- Well organised with good time management skills
- Works well as a member of a team
