A leading Life Insurance is hiring a Regional Programme Manager in Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan. Drive the rollout and management of strategic agency programmes, bridging national strategies with regional execution. Ensure consistent delivery, support field teams, and monitor performance across branch networks. As a Regional Programme Manager, you will be entrusted with translating high-level strategic agency programmes into tangible results at the regional level. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both national teams and local stakeholders to ensure every initiative is implemented smoothly across multiple branches. You will act as the primary point of contact for communicating programme objectives and expectations while tracking progress against key metrics. By preparing insightful dashboards and offering constructive feedback based on real-time data analysis, you will help drive continuous improvement in programme outcomes. Your ability to coordinate cross-functionally—working alongside marketing, compliance, training teams as well as agency leaders—will be essential in embedding new practices into daily operations. Additionally, you will provide targeted support for Premier+ agents and HNW client initiatives while leading recruitment campaigns that align with broader organisational goals. Success in this role means not only delivering on operational excellence but also fostering a culture of shared learning and mutual support throughout your region.

  • Implement all new agency programmes and initiatives designed by the national team, ensuring accurate translation from concept to field execution within assigned regions.
  • Communicate programme details, KPIs, mechanics, timelines, and expectations clearly to Regional Directors, Agency Leaders, and field teams to ensure full understanding and buy-in.
  • Track implementation progress and performance metrics such as VONB contribution, recruitment/activation KPIs, Premier+ productivity, and ECM engagement to monitor success.
  • Identify early performance gaps by analysing data and providing timely feedback loops to national programme owners for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive regional performance dashboards and deliver actionable insights that support ongoing enhancements in programme delivery.
  • Work closely with Chief Agency Officers, Agency Business Development partners, Agency Leaders, and Agents to embed programmes into daily operations seamlessly.
  • Coordinate with Middle Office, Front Office, Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Training functions to ensure smooth delivery of all initiatives across the region.
  • Support Premier+ agents by providing guidance on programmes, regular performance updates, and capability-building resources at the regional level.
  • Drive execution of High Net Worth (HNW) initiatives including product implementation support, lead management processes, and customer experience enhancements tailored for premium clients.
  • Lead regional rollout of recruitment campaigns and new agent activation programmes while ensuring alignment with national strategies through effective field coaching.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from any major is required; preference given to those with business or related fields of study due to their foundational understanding of organisational dynamics.
  • 5–8 years’ proven experience in insurance agency operations or similar environments where strategy execution was central to your responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated background in consulting management or project/programme management roles where analytical thinking was crucial for success.
  • Hands-on experience in field execution roles is highly preferred as it equips you with practical insights into operational challenges faced by branch networks.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—in English are essential for engaging diverse internal stakeholders as well as external partners effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities that enable you to build trust-based relationships across different levels of the organisation while aligning interests towards common goals.
  • Advanced presentation skills allowing you to convey complex information clearly during meetings or training sessions involving varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with programme rollout frameworks including KPI setting/tracking mechanisms ensures you can monitor progress accurately against defined targets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset combined with proficiency in preparing performance dashboards enables you to provide actionable insights that inform decision-making at both regional and national levels.
