What you'll do:

As the Head of Sales Force Development for an Insurance Company in Jakarta, you will be at the forefront of driving our client's sales team’s performance within the insurance industry. You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of initiatives that enhance sales capabilities. Your role will involve developing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with organisational goals, designing training programmes that boost product knowledge, establishing performance metrics, collaborating with HR for talent acquisition, evaluating sales tools for process optimisation, fostering inter-departmental collaboration, conducting market research for identifying opportunities, and managing budgets effectively.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales force development strategy aligned with organisational goals and market dynamics.
  • Design and deliver training programmes to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Establish performance metrics and benchmarks to measure sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR to attract, recruit, and retain top sales talent.
  • Evaluate and implement sales enablement tools and technology solutions to optimise sales processes.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to align strategies and support overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities impacting sales force effectiveness.
  • Manage the sales force development budget effectively.

The candidate possesses proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring high-performing teams. The candidate deep understanding of sales methodologies enables to establish effective performance metrics. The candidate is known for the strong communication skills which will be use to build relationships across all levels of the organisation. The candidate analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis equip to make data-driven decisions. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field is required for this role, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, performance metrics, and best practices.
