What you'll do:

As the Chief of Partnership and New Business (Bancassurance), you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our client's bancassurance business. You will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating agreements, developing strategic plans, conducting market analysis, managing relationships, acquiring new business, collaborating cross-functionally, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance. Your innovative thinking will drive business growth through new market opportunities.

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with key banks and financial institutions to expand our bancassurance distribution network.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business growth objectives in alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends within the bancassurance sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to foster collaboration and maximise business opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new bancassurance partnerships, ensuring a structured approach from initial contact through to contract finalisation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, legal, and finance to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements and business initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of bancassurance partnerships against predefined metrics and KPIs, implementing corrective actions and enhancements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while effectively managing risks associated with partnership agreements and business operations.

The ideal candidate for the Chief of Partnership and New Business role will bring a wealth of experience in partnership management and business development within the insurance or financial services industry. You will have strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.   • Proven experience in partnership management, business development or a related field within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth through innovative partnerships and new market opportunities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications preferred.
