Head of IT Security & Governance

A large insurance company is seeking a Head of IT Security & Governance to join their team in Jakarta. Reporting to the regional Group CISO, you would have full responsibility for the security and governance of the Indonesia business.

About the Head of IT Security & Governance Role:
In this role, you will help to drive the IT security function for the business unit, leveraging IT team members, group IT security shared services and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the local business IT security programme
• Ensure all policy and governance compliance
• Ensure IT projects and IT software development life cycles including security by design and go through the required IT security toll gates
• Perform security awareness for the business
• Coordinate group IT security initiative roll-outs in country
• Support the preparation of IT security metrics and risk mapping, along with resolution of deficiencies
• Collaborate with group cyber incidence response on any potential identified incidents

The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years experience in IT security management, preferably within insurance or financial services.

Key Requirements:

• Business IT leaderships experience
• Certification on CISSP/CRISC is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of overall IT security domains
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
