Managing Director - Insurance

An insurance company with an excellent reputation is recruiting for a Managing Director job to lead their Indonesian operations. Reporting into the Global HQ, you will have full P&L responsibility for a large Indonesian business.

About the Managing Director - Insurance Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for driving the Indonesian business to sustained and profitable growth by providing strategic direction and leadership to the Indonesia team. The role oversees the development, communication and execution of the strategic plan for the business

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales, marketing and product development
• Provide senior leadership support for client and prospect visits
• Ensure high client satisfaction both during the onboarding process and throughout the relationship
• Act as an industry expert in the market both locally and globally
• Work closely with the head office and key internal resources to drive the development of a comprehensive strategic plan to profitably grow the business
• Drive the development of clear measures and reporting capabilities that allow monitoring of all activities that will lead to success relative to the plan
• Be accountable for key financial indicators, including budgets and forecasts, P&L, as well as non-financial key indicators such as service levels, productivity levels, and customer complaints
• Ensure the consistent delivery and improvement of company value proposition

To succeed in this Managing Director - Insurance role, you will need to have a good insurance knowledge with a B2B network, with proven leadership capability.

Key Requirements:

• Degree from a reputable University, MBA is preferred
• At least 10 years of successful leadership experience including general management and full P&L accountability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop a strong leadership team
• Team-oriented leadership with results-driven DNA
