About the Head of Internal Audit Role:
In the business critical role you will be responsible for reviewing and appraising the existence, effectiveness and continuity of the internal controls to assist the company in achieving its mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ascertain the extent of compliance with established policies, plans and procedures and assist other departments and/or sections in implementation of their duties in an effective way according to the policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations
• Provide advice and sound recommendations to improve internal control and improve the operational deficiencies and audit opinion based on the audits performed
• Inform management of emerging issues and risks and their possible consequences for company operations
• Monitor and evaluate the follow up of audit recommendations
• Execute the task in line with internal audit rules, auditor’s code of ethics and other prevailing regulations

To succeed in this Head of Internal Audit job, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience in internal audit skills as well as excellent leadership skills.

Key Requirements:

• Be responsible for all activities within the internal audit unit
• Lead, organise and supervise audit activities to applicable standards
• Prepare the annual audit plan
• Review and improve audit programme/test plan
• Evaluate IA staff performance and report it to the management
• Develop active and open communication with senior management and auditee
• Maintain coordination and cooperation with companies, external auditor and auditee
• Report audit result to the Audit Committee and the President Director
