A leading digital bank in Indonesia is hiring an Account Development Head to drive growth of its next-gen SME business banking app. This role leads user acquisition, engagement, and conversion, working closely with product, data, engineering, and marketing teams. As Account Development Head for MSME Segment, you will play a central role in shaping the trajectory of one of Indonesia’s most promising digital banking initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve crafting robust strategies for user acquisition that leverage both traditional marketing channels and innovative digital tactics. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to refine onboarding journeys, ensuring every new customer enjoys a seamless experience from registration through activation. - Develop and execute a comprehensive user acquisition strategy that integrates both organic and paid channels to achieve ambitious customer growth targets.
- Oversee all user acquisition initiatives while coordinating with related functions to position the organisation as a key opinion leader in digital banking and business digitalisation.
- Work collaboratively with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to enhance onboarding experiences, activation rates, and long-term retention through innovative growth loops and funnel optimisation.
- Establish strategic partnerships with platforms, marketplaces, and business communities to expand reach and accelerate adoption among SME entrepreneurs.
- Drive rigorous analytics including A/B testing, cohort analysis, and marketing attribution to continuously improve customer acquisition cost (CAC) and conversion rates.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team specialising in acquisition, digital marketing, and growth analytics to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage multi-channel acquisition budgets effectively to maximise return on investment while maintaining alignment with brand standards.
- Ensure all acquisition campaigns are fully integrated with the organisation’s brand identity and compliance requirements.
- Champion data-driven experimentation across all aspects of user growth to identify new opportunities for scaling adoption.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing between departments for optimal campaign performance.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience spanning 8–12 years in digital growth roles or user acquisition leadership within securities platforms, digital banking environments, crypto platforms, fintech funding-side organisations or MSME-focused applications.
- Exceptional analytical skills with deep familiarity in interpreting growth metrics such as CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), retention rates, conversion rates; proficiency with data tools like Google Analytics, Firebase or Amplitude.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional teams encompassing marketing specialists, product managers and data analysts within fast-moving startup or digital bank settings.
- Entrepreneurial mindset characterised by hands-on involvement in experimental projects aimed at achieving tangible outcomes under dynamic conditions.
- Outstanding communication abilities in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; adept at storytelling that resonates across diverse audiences.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships with external platforms or business communities focused on SME empowerment.
- Ability to design integrated marketing campaigns that align closely with brand standards while meeting compliance requirements.
- Expertise in budget management for multi-channel acquisition efforts aimed at maximising ROI without compromising quality or compliance.
- Commitment to fostering collaborative relationships within teams by encouraging open dialogue around campaign performance insights.
- Capacity for data-driven decision making supported by rigorous experimentation methodologies such as A/B testing or cohort analysis.
