About the Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - Team Leader Role: As a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - Team Leader for lending product and corporate clients, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with SME clients while promoting lending products offered by the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of clients, understand their financial needs, and provide lending solutions to help them achieve their business goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact
Understand the financial needs and objectives of clients to provide tailored lending solutions
Regularly engage with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
Lending Product Promotion:
Promote lending products and services offered by the organisation to clients
Educate clients on the features and benefits of different lending products
Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for utilising lending products to achieve their business objectives
Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring portfolio growth and profitability
Assess the creditworthiness of clients and make lending decisions based on risk analysis

New Client Acquisition:

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
Develop and execute strategies for client acquisition, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
Cross-Selling and Upselling:
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for other financial products and services offered by the organisation
Work in collaboration with other departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all lending transactions and client interactions adhere to regulatory requirements and organisational policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial statements and loan documentation
Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, client feedback, and market trends
Provide insights and recommendations for improving lending products and client satisfaction0
To succeed in this Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - Team Leader role, you will need to grow the organisation's lending portfolio through new client acquisitions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
Four to five years of experience in relationship management, preferably in the banking sector
Strong knowledge of lending products and services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
