About the Head of Treasury and Capital Market Risk Role:
The Head of Treasurer is a leadership role overseeing investment activities, asset liability matching, liquidity management, financial planning and growth infrastructure scaling. The Head of Treasury reports to the CFO and is expected to take on a strategic role in a cross-functional, matrixed organisation across multiple product lines and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s investment activity
• Oversee asset liability matching to eliminate potential market risks across all asset classes including equities, commodities, crypto, mutual funds and FX
• Manage the company’s liquidity including cash management and financing including bank relationships
• Formulate and execute financial planning as needed
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on building and scaling infrastructure to support rapid growth
• Lead continuous improvement processes

To succeed in this Head of Treasury and Capital Market Risk role, your primary objective will be to safeguard the company’s financial well-being, ensuring its long-term success by implementing robust financial strategies and closely monitoring financial activities, you will contribute to maintaining the organisation’s stability and growth.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar
• At least 10 years in a treasury or capital markets related role
• Advanced knowledge of capital markets
• Experience with crypto infrastructure such as Fireblocks is preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to articulate complex financial concepts
• Strong analysis abilities; good business acumen and ability to identify data anomalies, trends or deviations and introduce strategies for improvement
• Well organised with strong time management skills and attention to detail; able to follow through on multiple projects and juggles conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment; sets and meets deadlines
• Experience collaborating with a team of colleagues; can effectively delegate, coach and leverage resources
• Leads by example, demonstrates strong work ethic, has initiative and is a self-starter
