A leading multinational securities house is recruiting a motivated Head of Institutional Sales to lead the institutional sales team in Jakarta.
About the Head of Institutional Sales Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for growing the institutional client-base and be a key resource in establishing the company as a market leader in the brokerage sector. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of leadership, entrepreneurship and creativity all while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Develop a strategic business plan that will allow the company to expand its clientele base network to institutional counterparts in both equity and fixed income
- Prospect new clients, expand existing relationships with clients and leverage the organisation’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives
- Manage a team that will be responsible for all client-facing tasks and sales support calls
- Consult with clients and traders on full trade lifecycle best practices (pre-trade analysis, execution of trade, post-trade analysis)
- Provide analysis of market trends/conditions
- Travel to existing and prospective clients as needed
- Maintain the compliance and the highest ethical standards
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- WPPE license holder
- A minimum of seven years of trading and/or sales experience in the financial services industry with strong equity or fixed income product knowledge
- Strong analytical skills to analyse and interpret various market data and apply such information to written and oral presentations
- Proficient using Excel and Bloomberg
- Dynamic personality along with clear and concise communication and has the ability to work well in a small collaborative team
- Desire to build a business
- Ability to travel as needed for the firm
- Strong operational skills is a plus
