What you'll do:

* Lead end-to-end implementation of IFRS 17 across the company, collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, actuary, IT) ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
* Develop and execute a project plan for IFRS 17 implementation, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Support business plan process under IFRS 17 to ensure it aligned with IFRS 17 standards.
* Provide technical accounting, actuarial guidance on IFRS 17 and serve as the subject matter expert on IFRS 17.
* Oversee the preparation and review of IFRS 17 compliant financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and meeting regulatory and company standards.
* Ensure that data management practices and systems meet the requirements for IFRS 17 reporting, including data quality, completeness, and consistency.
* Lead the integration of IFRS 17 requirements into existing financial-actuarial systems and support the development of necessary tools and system for IFRS 17 compliance.
* Coordinate and lead training sessions for internal teams to build understanding and capability around IFRS 17.
* Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure awareness and understanding of IFRS 17 implications.
* Manage the IFRS 17 project budget, ensuring that all activities are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
