A leading consultancy firm is looking for an Accountant. In this job, you will be responsible for all accounting, finance and tax related matters for company along with other ad-hoc issues.

About the Accountant role:

This position is a critical role within the finance and accounting division reporting directly to the Management Accountant. This position will be an accounting and finance all rounder. The successful candidate will deliver revenue assurance by driving improvements in process and accountability and complete monthly taxation filings.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable function of the Indonesia business
• Calculate, and complete monthly tax lodgements
• Daily correspondences with internal and external stakeholders or inter-companies on collection, payment and billing matters
• Ensure that the appropriate authorisations from the delegated department head have been received
• Attend and manage customers’ queries and ensure prompt investigation to any discrepancies
• Support the Management Accountant and Finance Manager on ad-hoc tasks appropriate to your level of skill and expertise

To succeed in this Accountant role, you should have good attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Key requirements:

• Four years' experience in an accounts receivable function or equivalent
• Experience in SUN Systems would be highly recognised
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, focusing on accuracy and completeness of all processing
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A mature and professional manner
• Shows initiative, and develops a clear approach through logic and common sense
