  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department by managing journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review daily transactions as well as monthly closing activities, ensuring all financial data is recorded correctly and efficiently.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation tasks, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and review consolidated Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets on a monthly basis, providing detailed analysis for management review.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews by coordinating with various departments to maintain the integrity of financial records.
  • Review monthly counterparty aging reports including Trade Payables, Trade Receivables, Other Payables/Receivables, Prepayments, and Advances to support effective cash flow management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and local statutory requirements by monitoring changes in regulations and implementing best practices.
  • Prepare and submit actual financial reporting packages to Regional and Group Finance teams in accordance with established timelines.
  • Lead external and internal audits by coordinating documentation requests, providing clear explanations, and supporting audit follow-up actions.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff by setting annual goals, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering professional growth through regular feedback sessions.
