Our client is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support their operations in South Jakarta. This role will be instrumental in delivering commercial finance planning, including overseeing the rolling forecast submission, variance analysis versus plan, and productivity for overall business. The successful candidate will partner with Sales, Marketing, Control, and Demand planning teams to provide financial insights that drive business growth.
What you'll do:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation. Your expertise in commercial finance within the FMCG sector will be crucial in developing key performance indicators, monitoring costs, and providing insightful financial analysis. You will collaborate with various teams across the organisation to deliver strategic plans and make informed operational decisions. Your ability to assess financial assumptions, risks, and investments will be vital in driving business growth.
- Develop templates for key performance indicators and track monthly sales performance
- Monitor and control trade spending, fixed and variable selling costs, and A&M costs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
- Provide financial calculation and analysis in the development of strategic and tactical plans
- Assess financial assumptions, risks, and investments for operational decision-making
- Collaborate with sales operation team, relevant finance team, and shared service stakeholders on sales operation, AOP, forecast, and closing purposes

With over 5 years' experience in commercial finance, you have developed strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of business models. Your proficiency with SAP and cloud-based systems sets you apart as does your ability to work cross-functionally across multiple cultures. Your strong communication skills enable you to influence others effectively while your Masters degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance underpins your technical expertise.
- 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Finance within the FMCG – Food and Beverage sector
- Proficiency with SAP and cloud-based systems
- Excellent functional knowledge of Commercial processes in FMCG sector
- Solid understanding of business models and process
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to see the big picture without losing sight of details
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple cultures
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Masters of Accounting/Finance subject or a professional qualification is preferable
