About the VP Special Project Role:
In this key role reporting directly to the CFO, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a start up company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, contribute and/or coordinate any projects that the company require that may fall outside of regular duties
- Perform data analysis for evaluating business performance
- Direct any projects that will lead to continuous improvement to the company's business process
- Manage and oversee the whole special project's division - assuming responsibility for its activities and work deliveries
- Provide clear directives and expectations to the special projects division
- Support CEO with development and maintenance of external partnerships
- Work closely with the CEO to assist with strategic planning process
- Provide staff support to the CEO for the convening of a range of meetings on short-or long-term projects. Strong leadership, collaboration, project management and problem-solving skills
To succeed in this VP Special Project role, you will need to have to have great analytical skills and strong business acumen
Key Requirements:
- At least six years' experience and four years in managerial position within management consultant, or projects
- Good financial analysis skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of communication skills
- Ability to analyse and solve problems in difficult situations and when required, within strict timescales and deadlines
- Familiarity with data analysis and acquiring insight from data; as well as making data-driven decisions
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
