The Financial Controller is responsible for leading, organizing, and overseeing all Finance & Accounting functions across hospitals in Indonesia. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, strong internal controls, and strategic financial support to management. Key Responsibilities for the Financial controller
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PSAK/IFRS and company policies.

Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide actionable insights to management.

Ensure financial closing and reporting are completed according to timeline and SOPs.

Maintain consistency in accounting treatment and chart of accounts across hospital units.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting process.

Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost efficiency.

Produce financial trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
3. Cost Control & Financial Monitoring
-
Monitor operating expenses across hospitals to ensure alignment with budget.

Evaluate departmental spending and resource utilization.

Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
4. Accounting Operations
-
Oversee general ledger, fixed assets, prepaid, accruals, and depreciation processes.

Ensure all transactions comply with accounting principles and internal policies.

Maintain consistency and accuracy of financial data in the ERP system (Oracle).
5. Internal Control & Audit

Develop and implement strong internal control systems across financial operations.

Act as primary liaison for internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.

Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
6. Leadership & Collaboration
-
Lead, coach, and develop Finance & Accounting teams at both head office and hospital units.

Foster collaboration with other departments (Procurement, HR, Operations) to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Provide financial analysis and strategic support to senior management.
Authority & Rights
-
Enforce compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Recommend performance evaluations and process improvements.

Provide disciplinary action in coordination with HR and department heads when necessary.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).

6–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of PSAK/IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in Oracle ERP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Proven leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
-
High integrity, discipline, and commitment to continuous improvement.
