Senior Finance Manager

An excellent Senior Finance Manager job opportunity has just arisen at a leading multinational oil and gas company in Jakarta. You will report directly to the Regional CFO.

About the Senior Finance Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the Regional CFO. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational oil and gas company.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the finance function and oversee the finance team
• Maintain financial ledgers and accounting processes
• Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Review and approve the month-end closing
• Review and approve the year-end statutory report, monthly management report and quarterly financial reports to head quarter which comply with IFRS
• Ensure timely submission of financial report and tax report to regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with latest accounting standards, taxation regulations and internal company policies.
• Manage financial analysis
• Manage cash management and treasury duties, liaison with banks and headquarters
• Prepare annual budget

The successful candidate must possess good leadership, communication and strong business partnering skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's (or above) degree in accounting or equivalent
• 15 or more years of experience in accounting
• SAP knowledge is a must
• Familiar with Indonesian accounting and tax regulations
• Audit experience from a Big 4 is an added advantage
• Familiarity with SAP is a must
• Experience with the upstream oil and gas industry in Indonesia environment in particular for exploration and development stage is a must
• Hands-on individual and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
