Head of Tax

A rapidly expanding logistics distribution and supply chain company is recruiting for a newly created Head of Tax job. In this job, you will be responsible for the taxation function of the company including but not limited to report, audit, monthly lodgement, and legal documents.

About the Head of Tax Role:
This position will be a critical role as he or she will be the responsible person for timely taxation calculation and lodgement, tax refund, planning, risk and mitigation and other tax matter in Indonesia reporting to the VP FAT and CFO. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure tax compliance with tax regulations for all taxes (VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT, etc) within time frame
• Provide planning (short term and strategic), consulting and be a subject matter expert in tax matters
• Identify and mitigate tax risk
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Work with tax advisers in providing practical solution
• Key contact person to tax officer
• Maintain tax reconciliation, tax balances on general ledger, includes preparing tax provision and deferred tax
• Prepared tax return, timely submission and handle all information data requests
• Handle legal and corporate secretarial matters

To succeed in this Head of Tax role, you must possess good communication skill and persistence to learn and grow.

Key Requirements:

• University degree in Finance/Accounting/Fiscal
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong knowledge in local tax law and regulation
• Minimum of five years' experience in similar positions
• Knowledge in transfer pricing and cross border tax is preferred
• Self-motivated individual and can work independently
• Attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
