A leading manufacturing and production company is looking for a Finance Controller. In this job you will be responsible for all accounting, finance and tax related matters for the company along with other ad-hoc issues.

About the Finance Controller Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible person for accounting, statutory reporting, financial operations, business planning and taxation. The role will report durectly to the CFO. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to lead the finance team of a leading manufacturing and production company.

Key Responsibilities:

Management
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage outsourced functions
• Oversee and lead organisation to achieve department goals and objectives
• Provide advice and guidelines to businesses on the accounting of transactions and implications

Transactions
• Maintain controls over accounting transactions
• Ensure all transactions are valid with supporting documents
• Manage asset transactions (e.g. purchase, depreciation, write off)

Reporting
• Ensure PL and Balance Sheet accounts are properly booked
• Issue timely and accurate financial statements
• Manage annual budgeting and forecasts
• Lead to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation monthly
• Provide financial analysis e.g. capital

Compliance
• Ensure control self-assessments are done by business thoroughly and timely
• Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) during audit
• Ensure adherence to Statutory and Corporate accounting guidelines

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills as well as be a committed team player.

Key Requirements:

• Accounting graduate, experience working in Big 4 Accounting Firm is a plus
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience
• Experience in a multinational/ reputable national company
• Good command of English (writing and speaking)
• Logical and solutions oriented
