This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping commercial and operational decisions, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The position offers the chance to influence strategic direction through insightful financial analysis, robust planning, and effective governance.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner Manager, you will be at the heart of strategic decision-making for the international business division. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with commercial leaders to shape budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans that drive sustainable growth. You will provide critical insights through detailed analysis of revenue trends, profitability drivers, pricing models, and distributor performance. By managing cash flow and optimising working capital, you will help ensure the organisation remains agile in responding to market changes. Your expertise in governance will safeguard compliance while your ability to communicate complex information clearly will empower non-finance stakeholders to make informed choices. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships across functions, delivering high-quality analysis under tight deadlines, and continuously seeking ways to improve processes for greater impact.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the International Business team by providing expert guidance that supports both commercial and operational decision-making processes.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles for international operations, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market realities.
- Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and modelling focused on revenue streams, profit margins, pricing strategies, distributor performance metrics, and investment appraisals.
- Manage cash flow effectively while optimising working capital requirements to support sustainable business growth across multiple markets.
- Ensure rigorous financial governance by maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Monitor business performance against established targets by preparing clear reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for management and non-finance colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to communicate financial results, share recommendations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.
- Support the implementation of new financial systems or tools that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency within the international business unit.
- Contribute to strategic projects by evaluating potential investments or partnerships using robust financial frameworks.
- Champion best practices in financial management by mentoring junior team members and promoting knowledge sharing across departments.
What you bring:
To excel as a Finance Business Partner Manager, your background should include significant experience in finance roles where you have supported commercial teams or worked within international environments. Your academic achievements—ideally complemented by professional qualifications—will underpin your technical expertise in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and risk management. You bring not only technical proficiency but also outstanding interpersonal skills that enable you to build trust-based relationships across departments. Your approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration; you thrive when connecting people around shared goals. You are comfortable translating complex data into accessible insights for non-specialists while remaining sensitive to cultural differences inherent in global operations. Your commitment to continuous learning means you actively seek out training opportunities that keep your knowledge current. Above all else, your dependability makes you a valued member of any team—someone others rely on during periods of change or challenge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline is required; holding a Master’s degree or MBA would be highly regarded as it demonstrates advanced knowledge.
- At least five years of experience in finance roles with exposure to business partnering or commercial finance responsibilities within an international context is essential for success.
- Proven ability in financial analysis, business modelling, and forecasting techniques ensures you can deliver accurate insights that inform key decisions.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or ACCA are considered advantageous as they reflect commitment to high standards of practice.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems alongside expert-level Excel skills enables you to manipulate large datasets efficiently and present findings clearly.
- A commercial mindset combined with excellent communication abilities allows you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical thinking paired with problem-solving capabilities ensures you can address complex challenges collaboratively.
- Experience managing cash flow processes while maintaining compliance with governance frameworks is highly desirable for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams fosters an inclusive environment where ideas are shared openly.
- A track record of supporting process improvements or system implementations highlights your adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
