Senior Finance Analyst

Save job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a highly respected organisation in Jakarta, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the business. This position offers you the chance to work closely with various stakeholders, including service centre managers and external auditors, ensuring that financial targets are met and exceeded.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Analyst based in Jakarta, you will immerse yourself in a diverse range of responsibilities that span from monitoring financial performance to collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the business. Your day-to-day activities will involve preparing detailed income statements, managing month-end closing processes within local ERP systems, supporting budgeting efforts according to group timetables, and developing robust reporting mechanisms for service centres. You will also be responsible for maintaining cash flow reports, assisting with management reporting cycles at monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals, as well as preparing ad hoc reports for various departments. By participating in yearly stock opname exercises and ensuring compliance with evolving group reporting structures, you will contribute significantly to the accuracy of financial data. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will be essential when explaining results to senior leaders or responding to auditor requests. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also a collaborative spirit that fosters strong relationships throughout the organisation.

  • Monitor and review current financial performance and achievements to ensure the organisation is progressing towards its financial objectives while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee inventory control and fixed asset management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Conduct thorough project controlling activities, including analysis of deviations from budget, margin analysis, and proactive follow-up to support successful project outcomes.
  • Act as a business partner to service centre managers by providing insightful financial guidance that supports operational decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors during financial audits, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of audit queries.
  • Drive further development of existing systems to maximise their effectiveness in supporting accurate financial reporting in line with local requirements and group standards.
  • Analyse and explain monthly financial reports to group or division controllers as well as head business operations, ensuring transparency and clarity in all communications.
  • Participate actively in annual stock opname (inventory count) and asset opname (asset verification) exercises to maintain data integrity across all records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations while taking personal responsibility for safety at work.
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyse monthly income statements and balance sheets to provide comprehensive insights into organisational performance.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Finance Analyst in this dynamic environment, you will bring extensive experience gained from similar roles where attention to detail was paramount. Your background should include hands-on exposure to inventory control systems as well as fixed asset management frameworks that support accurate record-keeping. You will have developed strong analytical abilities through regular preparation of income statements or balance sheets while demonstrating fluency with ERP platforms like Accpac. Your collaborative nature enables you to build positive relationships across departments—especially when acting as a business partner or liaising with auditors—and your communication skills allow you to present complex findings clearly. A commitment to following established policies ensures compliance at every stage of the reporting process. Additionally, your willingness to participate actively in annual verification exercises reflects your dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy. Above all else, your passion for sharing knowledge within teams contributes positively toward collective success.

  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring financial performance within a corporate environment, with a proven ability to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Strong background in inventory control and fixed asset management practices that ensure compliance with both internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project controlling activities such as budget deviation analysis, margin assessment, and effective follow-up actions that drive project success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to act as a trusted business partner who collaborates effectively with service centre managers and other stakeholders.
  • Experience serving as a counterpart during external audits by facilitating transparent communication between auditors and internal teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (such as Accpac) for supporting accurate financial reporting aligned with local statutory requirements or group consolidation needs.
  • Ability to analyse complex monthly financial reports for presentation to group controllers or senior management while ensuring clarity of findings.
  • Hands-on involvement in annual stock opname (inventory count) or asset verification processes that uphold data integrity across all records.
  • Commitment to upholding workplace safety standards by following established health policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  • Track record of preparing comprehensive income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, forecasts, budgets, order backlog reports, and ad hoc analyses for multiple stakeholders.
