You will be responsible for maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, preparing essential journal entries, conducting thorough bank reconciliations, managing expense reports, and overseeing payroll functions. Additionally, you will take charge of inventory planning management—reconciling stock levels, coordinating importation plans, collecting accounts receivable data, and making necessary adjustments based on changing forecasts or actual results. Your ability to analyse complex financial data will be crucial in providing actionable insights that support strategic decisions. By delivering reliable month-end information to various teams and entering annual budgets with precision, you will contribute significantly to the organisation’s overall financial health.   • Assist the Finance Manager based in Bulgaria by providing accurate financial data and supporting daily operations within the finance department.
  • Assign new general ledger accounts and update system templates to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in financial records.
  • Work according to the Quality System as declared by Management, maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy at all times.
  • Prepare and enter standard journal entries throughout each month, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date records and identify any discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyse specific general ledger accounts such as prepayments, accruals, and both long-term and short-term debt to provide clear financial insights.
  • Maintain the Expense Report system, including updating employee banking information as needed for payroll processing.
  • Provide month-end financial information to various departments upon request, supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
  • Enter yearly budgets into the system, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Manage inventory planning and reconciliation processes, including importation plans, accounts receivable collection, quarterly physical stock checks, and adjusting plans based on forecast or actual fluctuations.

  • Show familiarity with Dynamic systems or similar accounting software platforms used for managing general ledger accounts and financial reporting.
  • Possess previous experience working within companies based in Eastern Europe; this background is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Display fluency in English (both written and spoken), enabling you to interpret documents accurately and communicate clearly through reports or correspondence.
  • Offer additional language skills such as Russian or Bulgarian; these are beneficial but not required for success in this role.
