What you'll do:

As a Senior Financial Accountant based in Jakarta, you will play an integral part in shaping the financial operations of this respected organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve overseeing complex month-end procedures, managing statutory audits for multiple entities, handling local cash requirements with care, and ensuring all transfer pricing invoices are calculated accurately each month. You’ll also be responsible for producing insightful cash flow reports that inform strategic decisions. A key aspect of your role will be supporting the rollout of Microsoft Business Central by training local teams and facilitating seamless system integration. Your keen eye for detail will help you identify areas for process improvement across the group; your collaborative approach ensures these enhancements are implemented smoothly. By advising on technical accounting issues under both Local GAAP and IFRS frameworks, you’ll become a trusted resource within the finance team. • You will drive the professionalisation of month-end processes by ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines.
• Your responsibilities include preparing accurate accruals schedules and maintaining control over the balance sheet, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, prepayments, and accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy with no risk to the profit and loss statement.
• You will manage the annual statutory audit for three legal entities, ensuring all group deadlines are met efficiently and effectively.
• You will oversee local cash requirements, ensuring all transactions are managed responsibly and reported transparently.
• You will calculate and post transfer pricing invoices on a monthly basis, supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• You will prepare detailed cash flow reports that provide valuable insights into the organisation’s financial health.
• You will support the implementation of Microsoft Business Central by training local personnel and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
• You will identify weaknesses in current processes across the group, propose practical solutions, and take a hands-on approach to implementing improvements.
• You will advise on technical accounting matters related to both Local GAAP and IFRS standards, providing guidance to colleagues as needed.

• You have earned a degree in financial management or a related field which has equipped you with solid foundational knowledge.
• You bring at least three years’ experience managing multiple international legal entities within a complex organisational structure.

• You possess a continuous improvement mindset demonstrated through hands-on experience driving process enhancements within finance teams.
• Your ability to collaborate effectively within diverse international teams is proven; experience working in matrix organisations would be advantageous.
• Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting and reconciliation.
• You are self-motivated with an innate curiosity about how processes can be improved for greater efficiency.
• You hold ACA/ACCA/CIMA or local equivalent qualifications (essential), demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
• Your technical accounting skills under Local GAAP are robust; you are comfortable advising others on complex matters.
