Tax Compliance & Litigation Head

With multiple entities and a complex supply chain structure, the organization continues to expand regionally while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and financial discipline. To support this growth, the company is strengthening its tax leadership structure

We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance & Litigation Head to take ownership of corporate tax strategy, compliance, audit management, and dispute resolution across multiple entities.

The must haves for this role is a background in consulting and a background in FMCG or Retail.

This is a senior leadership position within the finance function, responsible for ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations while managing tax risk and supporting business efficiency.

Based in West Jakarta

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s tax strategy to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize tax efficiency

  • Lead all tax operations including PPN (VAT), PPh (corporate and withholding tax), annual and monthly tax filings

  • Oversee timely tax reporting and payments across all business units and legal entities

  • Manage tax audits, objections, appeals, and litigation processes directly with tax authorities

  • Review and approve transfer pricing documentation (local file and master file)

  • Lead tax risk management initiatives and strengthen internal controls

  • Review tax-to-financial statement reconciliations and ensure accurate tax provisioning

  • Provide technical tax advisory to business and finance stakeholders

  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on complex or high-risk matters

  • Lead and develop the tax compliance and litigation team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Law

  • 7–10 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax litigation

  • Minimum 3–4 years in a team leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, audit procedures, and dispute resolution processes

  • Hands-on experience handling tax audits, objections, and appeals

  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-entity corporate environments is preferred

  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail

  • Clear communication skills with the ability to interact with senior finance leadership

This role offers direct exposure to senior finance leadership and the opportunity to manage tax governance within a large, multi-entity FMCG group operating at scale.
