Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a finance operation team, overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing credit control and cash flow activities, and liaising with external parties such as Financial Institutions, Tax Authorities, Consultants and External Auditors. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a hybrid working arrangement.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance operation team. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring high-quality reporting in compliance with timeframe requirements. You will prepare monthly financial reports and analyses, providing valuable business information to management. Your role will also involve managing credit control and cash flow activities within the company. You will assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, manage company's fixed assets, monitor cost developments, review finance processes for improvements, perform ad-hoc projects related to financial aspects, communicate with peers from other departments, and liaise with external parties.

• Lead finance operation team covering General Accounting, Receivables, Payables and Taxation.
• Oversee daily accounting operation, monthly and year-end financial reporting/closing processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage credit controlling and cash flow activities within the Company.
• Assist in preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Manage, control and ensure Company’s fixed assets are recorded timely and accurately.
• Regularly monitor costs development and analyze the variance of actual against budget.
• Review finance process constantly and identify areas of improvements.
• Perform individually or in the team any ad-hoc or Company special projects in relation to financial aspects.
• Communicate with peers from other departments to obtain and/or exchange information.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. With a minimum of 10 years' experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in these areas. Your background includes early experience as an auditor in a Big 4 accounting firm, and you hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. An additional qualification such as CPA/ACCA or MBA would be advantageous. You are fluent in English, both oral and written, with an emphasis on report writing. Your advanced spreadsheet skills in MS-Excel and knowledge of SAP will be put to good use in this role. Above all, your strong accounting knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, relationship and stakeholder management skills set you apart.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting Major.
• CPA/ACCA or MBA would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in finance, accounting and Indonesia taxation.
• Early experience as an auditor in a Big 4 accounting firm is compulsory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and numbers reasoning.
• Fluent in English both oral and written (emphasis on report writing) is a must.
• Advanced Spreadsheet skill in MS-Excel.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
