What you'll do:

As an Accounting Assistant Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's accounting operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing, coordinating, and reviewing the monthly and annual closing processes. You will also supervise the accounting work prepared by other staff members, prepare reports for various purposes, conduct site visits periodically, perform financial report analysis, execute assigned projects, and manage the financial statement audit process. Your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

  • Manage, coordinate, and review the monthly and annual closing processes within specified deadlines.
  • Review the accuracy and completeness of detailed listings for balance sheet and profit or loss accounts monthly.
  • Supervise and review the accounting work and records prepared by supervisors and staff.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Conduct periodic site visits.
  • Perform financial report analysis.
  • Execute projects assigned by the supervisor.
  • Manage and coordinate the financial statement audit process.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounting Assistant Manager position brings a wealth of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 6 years in the field with at least 2 years as an auditor in a Public Accounting Firm. You have a strong understanding of accounting principles such as GAAP, IFRS. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel is complemented by your experience with ERP software like SAP or Pronto. You are fluent in both Mandarin and English, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your exceptional attention to detail sets you apart from others. You have proven ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Your excellent communication skills coupled with your interpersonal abilities make you a perfect fit for this role.
