Finance Senior Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

Our client is seeking a Finance Senior Manager to lead their financial function, with a special emphasis on the professional development of existing staff. This role will involve managing and supervising the availability and use of the company's financial resources, ensuring efficient use and adequate funding. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying financial risks and developing strategies to address these risks.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the building of the financial function within the company. You will take responsibility for setting objectives for all staff, preparing development and training plans, and monitoring the performance of financial staff. Your role will also involve managing cashflows to ensure that the business is adequately funded. You will be responsible for identifying financial risks and developing strategies to address these risks. Additionally, you will prepare annual business plans, long-term budgeting, and short-term monthly forecasts of cash and operating performance.

• Lead, motivate, and evaluate the finance team
• Ensure correct and timely delivery of management information, accounting, and finance information
• Review and approve key commercial contracts
• Manage cashflows and ensure the business is adequately funded
• Identify financial risk and develop strategies to address these risks
• Prepare annual business plans, long-term budgeting, and short-term monthly forecasts of cash and operating performance
• Ensure appropriate systems of internal control are in place
• Manage taxation planning and issues

The ideal candidate for this Finance Senior Manager position has a proven track record of leading finance teams. They possess an understanding of processing or other capital-intensive industries. Fluency in English and Chinese language skills is essential for this role. The candidate should have qualifications in a financial discipline ideally accompanied by other postgraduate qualifications. They should be able to set goals for their function, define resources to reach them, establish responsibilities among their people, and monitor performance. Superior verbal and written communication skills are also required.
