What you'll do:
As a Finance Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the finance and accounting section of our client's business. Your excellent leadership skills will be put to use as you guide your team towards achieving their goals. You will oversee daily operations across various accounting areas, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately. Your analytical skills will be crucial in monitoring accounting data to produce insightful financial reports. You will also liaise with external auditors to complete annual financial audits. Your involvement in ERP projects will allow you to contribute significantly to improving finance processes.
- In charge of the Finance and Accounting section
- Lead and supervise subordinates
- Manage and oversee daily operations of Accounting areas such as financial transaction recognition, month-end and year-end closing processes, general ledger, fixed assets, purchase-inventory, sales accounts receivable
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports (both actual and forecast estimation)
- Produce reports required by HQ, government, and various ad hoc reports as requested
- Liaise and coordinate with external auditors in order to complete annual Financial audits and produce financial audit statements
- Involve in any ERP project that has an impact on to finance process
- Review and find ERP processes that need to be improved/enhanced, work and coordinate with ERP consultant to make it happen
- This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax reports, assisting with tax planning, and maintaining strong relationships with tax authorities.
- Experience in dealing with government tax offices independently
- Collaborate among sections within the Finance department in order to achieve the finance department's goal
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Accounting Manager role is a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Tax/Finance and a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the Accounting area. You are expected to have Brevet A & B certification and in-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Your fluency in English and ability to communicate in Korean will be essential in this role. Holding accounting-related certifications such as Chartered Accounting (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (CPSAK), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will give you an edge. Your strong understanding of Accounting Standards (IFRS/PSAK), Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Budgeting, and ERP systems will be crucial to your success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Tax/Finance with a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the Accounting area
- Have Brevet A & B certification and in-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is preferred.
- Fluent in English
- Hold accounting-related certifications such as Chartered Accounting (CA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (CPSAK) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be an advantage
- Have good knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS/PSAK), Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Budgeting, ERP system
- Communicate in Korean (Minimum Topic II Level 5)
