Finance Manager

A local start-up supply chain business is seeking a Finance Manager to support their business in Jakarta. In this job, you will be responsible for all finance, budgeting and business partnering for the company along with other ad hoc issues.

About the Finance Manager Role:
This is a critical role within the finance division reporting directly to the CFO. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a supply chain company. You will control and ensure all financial operation transactions related to AR, AP, and CM are settled in a timely manner, within the Superior’s guidelines, applicable Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), and relevant standards/regulation (Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan, tax regulation, etc.) in order to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of financial transaction recording and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control AR, AP and CM transactions recording and payment process to ensure its accuracy and timely execution; review and approve payment transactions (AP and CM), ensure data/document requirements are completely done according to applicable company’s policy and financial judgement
• Control AR ageing; review and approve occasional transactions with significant amount and its risk of assessment (low/medium/high) to ensure they are acknowledged and also approved by the Finance Head
• Control and approve monthly budget (include weekly payment plan), prepared by each section head, review and monitor cash flow, control AR and AP ageing and overdue, Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) clearing
• Review required data for audit committee meeting, control and review required data for financial audit or other audits
• Provide ad hoc data as requested by the management
• Drive improvement and simplification of business process in financial operation area to adapt to changing business needs to achieve process efficiency and , effective internal controls and ensure full compliance that will lead to the integrity of financial information and reporting
• Partnering with business/operation team in supporting financial operation related function in managing payment and cash collection process
• Provide sufficient coaching and supervision for each team member

The successful Finance Manager must have good leadership, communication and strong business partnering skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Accounting
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Minimum of five years' experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, time management and leadership skills
