Finance HR Manager

An multinational law firm is seeking a Finance HR Manager to support their business unit in Jakarta. In this job you will be responsible for all finance, accounting and payroll for the company along with other ad hoc issues.

About the Finance HR Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance division reporting directly to the Managing Director. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage HR-related work including payroll and tax
• Manage finance-related work including Account Payable, Account Receivable and budgeting. Expected to work closely with the external accounting firm and the bookkeeping is conducted by the external accounting firm
• Format Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and demonstrate Excel skills (basic functions, etc.) associated with billing operations
• Instead of carrying out instructions by the order of the instructions, prioritise the instructions from multiple lawyers, to fully understand their intentions and to work with efficiency and with speed (schedule management, invoicing, travel arrangements, documentations, etc.)
• Complete tasks instructed by the lawyers within the deadline by working together with lawyers, secretaries and other staff (accounting, IT and public relations) in Tokyo and other ASEAN offices (Singapore, Yangon, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi)
• Accurately perform detailed tasks such as entering figures accurately for invoicing and expense reimbursement, entering the client's business card information received by the lawyers in the database

The successful candidate must possess good leadership, communication and strong business partnering skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Accounting
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience in service industry is desirable
• Three or more years of experience in finance and accounting
• Minimum of two years of experience in handling payroll
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, time management and leadership skills
